Plates are labeled with alpha-numeric markings for easy identification of individual wells. Each well has a raised rim which nests into the rings on the single direction lid to reduce evaporation and limit the risk of cross contamination. Lids have a stacking feature for added stability when handling tall stacks of plates. Flat bottom with working volume of 0.5-1.5mL. RNase/Dnase free and non-pyrogenic. Every case is printed with the lot number for quality traceability. Individually packed sterile, 100/case.
Advanced Biomatrix CytoSoft Imaging 24-well Plate, Elastic Modulus 0.2 kPa
This CytoSoft Imaging product, Catalog Number 5183, has an elastic modulus of approximately 0.2 kPa with a polycarbonate film-bottom, black flat-bottom 24-well plate. The thickness of the silicone gel is uniform with a ~0.03 mm thick layer of silicone in each well. The rigidity of the substrate to which cells adhere can have a profound effect on cell morphology and gene expression. The CytoSoft Imaging plate is for high-resolution imaging where low autofluorescence and exceptional optical clarity are required. Plate consists of a #1.5 glass bottom plate bonded with a black polystyrene frame and includes a lid. The plates are sterilized using ozone irradiation and provided with 1 plate per package. On the bottom of each well, there is a thin layer of specially formulated biocompatible silicone, whose elastic modulus (rigidity) is carefully measured and certified.
